Analyze a component

The Component tab targets a single page element rather than the entire page. Useful for verifying a menu, form, or specific button.

#Select a component

Click Select a component, then click on the desired element directly in the page. The extension analyzes it immediately. To stop, use Stop selection; to target another element, Select another component.

#Read and save the result

The result indicates the number of non-conformities found, or No non-conformities detected. In the latter case, the extension reminds you that this does not guarantee compliance: remember to supplement with manual testing.

To save the analysis, click Save to snapshot. Then, Open the report takes you to the details on the platform.
