Access Key

An access key allows you to connect external tools to Includdy, notably the browser extension and the API. It always starts with ak_.

Management is done in Settings > Access Keys. A key is personal and active only for the current team; each member creates their own. Readers with read-only access do not have access to this.

#Create an access key

Click on New key, give it a name so you can recognize it later (for example, "My computer"), then click Create. Includdy then displays the full key.

Important: the key is displayed only once. Copy it and keep it in a safe place, then confirm with I've copied my key. If you lose it, you'll need to create a new one.

#Revoke an access key

To remove access for a key, click on Revoke next to it. Tools that were using it will no longer be able to connect. This is useful if a device is lost or no longer needs access to Includdy.
