Paris, Île-de-France
Created in 2021 in Paris and Qualiopi-certified, the continuing education provider Swash runs sessions on accessible PDFs, offered in-person or online.
Founded in 2021 in Paris, Swash is a continuing education provider certified by Qualiopi. Based on Rue de Turbigo, the firm has around twenty staff supported by guest speakers and partners. Sessions run in-person or online across France.
The accessibility element focuses specifically on PDF documents. Trainees learn to produce files whose structure remains intelligible to assistive technologies whilst balancing graphic requirements and accessibility.
The teaching content is grounded in RGAA and the PDF/UA technical standard. Practice uses Adobe Bridge, InDesign, Acrobat Pro and accessibility checkers to create structured documents.
Swash also publishes an article by Marianne Huot on PDF legal obligations: Article 47 of the 2005 Act, the European EAA Directive and supervision by Arcom.
