Based in Angers, CENTICH provides training in web best practices and supports regional organisations on autonomy and disability.
Based in Angers, CENTICH works in Pays de la Loire on autonomy and disability. In Maine-et-Loire as in Mayenne, its occupational therapists assess housing adjustment needs, and its Equipment Library provides loans and acquisition of assistive devices.
In consortium with Alter and SOLIHA, the centre carries out housing assessments in Anjou Bleu Communauté. It runs fall prevention workshops with Siel Bleu, whilst its May Autonomy programme has supported 2,500 people in Mayenne since 2020.
On the digital side, the organisation provides training in web and digital best practices, attentive to people with visual impairments. CENTICH notes that 20 per cent of the population experiences digital accessibility difficulties.
Sébastien Lardeux, a computer trainer certified as an Accessiweb Expert, trained the Net Concept team for two days in February. CENTICH also works with partners such as SOLIHA, AFM Téléthon and Angers University Hospital.
