Founded in 1996 in Meythet, Udapei 74 is an association specializing in easy-to-read French (FALC). It provides Qualiopi-certified training and transcribes various information documents.
Founded in 1996 in Meythet, Udapei 74, a member of Unapei, brings together seven associations in Haute-Savoie, five of which manage reception and support facilities or services. It defends their rights, raises awareness among elected officials and citizens about their needs, and deploys accessibility initiatives focused on information comprehension.
The organization adapts written materials into simplified language: posters, leaflets, press articles or association projects. Its teams also run training sessions to equip professionals with the skills to write and create signage independently.
Holding the FALC quality mark and Qualiopi-certified, the organization has each document reviewed and validated by people affected. It also conducts on-site assessments followed by recommendations, as well as preparation for the S3A label.
The association carries out its easy-to-read French work with the Haute-Savoie departmental council.

Training
The association trains staff and residents of facilities in the easy-to-read French approach to foster their independence with documents and signage. It also offers training preparing for S3A labelling to make venues accessible to people with intellectual disabilities.

It converts written materials into easy-to-read French such as flyers, press articles, association projects or posters. Each document reviewed is validated by an expert group made up of people with intellectual disabilities from its member associations.
