Based in Marseille, ICOM'provence provides RGAA (the French accessibility standard) training and guides users towards alternative and augmentative communication across the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
ICOM'provence is a Marseille-based resource centre dedicated to accessible and responsible digital services, active throughout the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. The team includes digital specialists, two occupational therapists and an applied anthropologist. It manages the community spaces L'Arbopostale and espace K-bu, as well as the Barasse hub.
The organisation delivers professional training certified under Qualiopi for employees and entrepreneurs. Each programme begins with an initial assessment interview and concludes with an official certificate. For learners with disabilities, an occupational therapy assessment enables content adjustment.
Training covers RGAA, welcoming people with disabilities and internet safety. It also addresses computers in the classroom and alternative and augmentative communication. The organisation also offers a MOOC and 3D printing of assistive devices.
