FORPRO PACA
Nice, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur
An offshoot of the French Ministry of Education in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, FORPRO PACA delivers initial training in accessible interfaces in Nice via the GIP FIPAN.
FORPRO PACA brings together the professional training network of the French Ministry of Education in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, comprising five GRETA-CFA, one GRETA, the GIP FCIP and the GIP FIPAN. Its 340 establishments and 2,400 training courses welcome 29,500 people trained each year: employees, jobseekers and young people.
Delivered in Nice by the GIP FIPAN, the training 'Digital accessibility: make your website easier to use for all audiences' covers key concepts in 30 minutes, then disabilities and the legal framework in 2 hours 30 minutes. A module of 40 minutes details voice command and screen magnification, as well as screen readers and assistive equipment.
The final module of 50 minutes examines accessibility in design: colours, contrasts and typography, along with the principle of proximity, regions and page structure. Trainees learn to test the accessibility of a web interface and then to design inclusive websites. Sessions have no pre-scheduled dates and are planned on request with the team.
