Based in Paris, the association APAJH provides transcription and consulting services in FALC (easy-to-read French).
APAJH is a national network of associations present throughout France and based in Paris, bringing together 93 associations and 700 facilities in mainland France and overseas territories. Its accessibility offering focuses on written communication.
The client receives documents transcribed and laid out according to European easy-to-read rules. Each piece of content is reviewed and finally validated by people with disabilities.
Teams direct projects towards groups made up of professionals and supported individuals, drawn from sheltered employment services (ESAT), adapted enterprises, supported employment platforms or a prison. Each group fulfils three roles: advisory, translation and certification.
Services are aimed at public and private organisations across the country. The association works with municipalities, cultural venues and political organisations during election campaigns.

Mixed groups transcribe content according to FALC rules, then verify compliance and validate the document. Final validation necessarily involves at least one person with a disability.
Consulting and support
The service includes preliminary analysis of the document and assessment of needs in order to define appropriate solutions. The file is then entrusted to the most relevant expert group.
