Access42 is a cooperative specialising in digital accessibility, founded in Paris in 2008. Recognised as a Social Utility Enterprise and certified Qualiopi, it operates in France and internationally.
Services cover audit, training and technical support. Clients receive evaluation reports, compliance statements, multi-year roadmaps and adapted office documents.
Verifications are based on the RGAA, WCAG and the European standard EN 301 549. The team tests interfaces with screen readers and involves people with disabilities in user testing.
The firm has handled over 1,300 projects. Since 2022, it has supported Inria on its websites and trained its teams. It also oversaw the redesign of grenoble.fr in 2024 for the City of Grenoble, and collaborates with Allianz France.

Audit
The team evaluates websites, web applications and components against the RGAA, RAWeb or WCAG, then drafts the accessibility statement after screen reader testing. The audit also covers wireframes, design systems, editorial content, software and includes a fast-track format based on the 25 priority criteria set out by DINUM.
Training
Access42 trains in web development, the role of accessibility coordinator, UX design, and web and office content creation. In Grenoble, a two-day session prepared regular contributors to create accessible office documents.
Consulting and support
Technical support includes acceptance testing, technical notes, documentation and help drafting the multi-year roadmap from the tender stage or specification phase onwards. The company also organises user testing with people with disabilities.
Documents and PDF
The service covers the audit and assistance with correcting office documents or contributed content. It also includes the creation of accessible documents according to the RGAA, EN 301 549, WCAG, RAWeb, RAAM and RAPDF.
Mobile apps
iOS and Android applications are audited against the European directive and RAAM. Access42 also delivers training specific to auditing mobile applications.
